Professor Dr. Sabahat joined the Department of Architecture, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore as lecturer and promoted to higher post of Assistant Professor on through proper channel after serving the Pakistan Public Works Department, Ministry of Housing & Works as an Architect selected by the FPPSC. Besides teaching and research, she was assigned various administrative duties in the university. Dr. Sabahat also served as the University Hostel Management team from 2005 till her retirement. Dr. Sabahat has supervised more than 25 Masters students’ research projects and more than 100 undergraduate students’ projects. She has successfully supervised two PhD students. She has served as elected member Syndicate from 2017 to2020, UET. She also served as the member University Assets Management Committee, UET and as member University Finance & Planning Committee, UET. She has been Member, University Senate, UET and academic council. She served as Member University Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) from 2017 to 2023, UET.
