This course introduces students to traditional and contemporary visual art practices through calligraphy, glass painting, and printing techniques with a strong focus on creativity and studio-based learning.

Course Objectives


By the end of the course, students will:

  • Explore traditional and contemporary visual art practices.
  • Develop technical skills in calligraphy, glass painting, and printing.
  • Understand materials, composition, and creative visual expression.
  • Gain studio-based learning experience through practical activities.
  • Produce original artworks using creative experimentation and technique.

Weekly Breakdown

Week 1: Calligraphy


Instructor: Mr. Saeed Ghani & Mr. Muhammad Awais

Venue: LG - Fine Art Studio

  • Develop proficiency in traditional and modern calligraphic styles.
  • Understand stroke control, spacing, and composition.
  • Produce aesthetically refined calligraphic artworks.

Week 2: Glass Painting


Instructor: Ms. Sania Mubarik & Ms. Nimra Sajjad

Venue: Textile Studio 4th Floor

  • Understand the fundamentals and techniques of glass painting.
  • Explore color harmony and surface treatment on glass.
  • Produce visually balanced and creative glass painting compositions.

Week 3: Printing Techniques


Instructor: Mr. Meer Hamza & Mr. Muhammad Awais

Venue: Printing Studio LG

  • Learn basic printing techniques and processes.
  • Develop skills in texture, composition, and image transfer.
  • Create original prints through experimentation and creative practice.
