Bachelor in Interior Design (BID) derives its approach from the global and local concerns, and is connected with design as a cultural activity within the broader context of art, society, environment, and technology. It encourages the students to look at the interior spaces in a unique way and develop an understanding of expression of space, which is embedded in an artistic methodological framework. The degree focuses on harnessing the plethora of design of space with an emphasis on furniture design, adaptive reuse and critical thinking and writing. During the course of studies, the students will develop skills and abilities through a series of incrementally complex design exercises culminating within the thesis research and project.
The program also aims at forging strong links with designers, artists and artisans across the board alongside the promotion of traditional crafts. This program has everything that you may look for to grow into a creative designer.
